My birthday is in two days!  The Sephora birthday gift pictured above is free in the store without purchase or free only with any purchase if you are a member of the Beauty Insider Club (also free to sign up).

The gift is a mini They’re Real mascara and highlighter from Benefit cosmetics.  I used the Watt’s Up! mini highlighter to highlight under my eyes before applying translucent powder.  The mascara is nice, too, especially for travel since it is a sample size.  I had to apply three coats to get the desired look, but I usually do with any mascara.

I got this brush set at Sephora yesterday for $21.  Yes, you read that right.  The original price was $75 dollars, but as the packaging states, it’s a $210 value and I totally believe it.  Makeup brushes are expensive.

This kit includes the following:
-Powder brush
-Foundation brush
-Concealer brush
-Shadow brush
-Smudge brush
-Crease brush
-Angled liner brush
-Brow comb

The only negative thing I can say about this set is that it doesn’t include a blush/bronzer brush, only a powder brush.  But still, for that price, it’s completely worth it!
